Xiamen Theoretical Chemistry Lectures (XTCL) series are held during semester to facilitate academic exchange between leading international scientists and the members of Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (FTCC). XTCL also serve education of the students of Xiamen University.
The seminar consists of a public lecture (30–45 min talk) and Q&A session, followed by a closed part with one-on-one meetings with the faculty members and students.
Upcoming Lectures:
1. 2021-10-22, Prof. Joel M. Bowman (Emory University) : What is the target of a machine-learned potential energy surface? How the answer informs the approach taken.
The previous speakers were:
7. 2021-01-28, Prof. Karsten Reuter (FHI-MPG): Merging Multiscale Theory and Data Sciences to Tackle Operando Energy Conversion Systems
6. 2021-01-14, Prof. Benedetta Menucci (University of Pisa) : Proteins & light: which modeling?
